Metabolon is Founded
Metabolon was founded in 2000 by John Ryals, Ph.D. and Paul Schimmel.
Achieved Identification of Over 500 Metabolites In Plasma
Including identification of novel microbial derived metabolites in human plasma, leading our understanding of the importance of our microbiome in our health and wellness and driving early insights into previously unknown gene function through extensive Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS).

Metabolon’s Integrated Bioinformatics Platform (IBP) transforms complex biological data into meaningful discoveries. Designed for multiomics integration, the IBP unifies metabolomic, genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, phenotypic, and microbiome data to deliver the most holistic view of the biological phenotype.
