Michael Irwin

Michael Irwin, responsible for Metabolon’s global sales organization, is a seasoned sales leader with 30 years in commercial roles, leading teams to achieve high revenue growth in competitive and complex markets.

Mike’s experience spans the fields of chromatography and genomics, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) and cytogenetics, followed by recent stints in structural biology and proteomics. Mike has managed global and regional teams at entrepreneurial and large companies, driving accountability through commercial structural fine-tuning, channels, forecasting, budgeting, CRM systems, and go-to-market strategies and campaigns. Most recently, Mike was the Global VP of Sales, Support, and Marketing at Olink Proteomics. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California.
