Generation of reliable results remains one of the biggest challenges in discovery metabolomics. To determine how well the Metabolon Verus™ Metabolomics Profiling Kit supports reproducible data production, we conducted a ring trial study where eight independent labs analyzed the same set of plasma and urine samples with the Kit workflow.
Across all participant sites, the Kit workflow delivered broad metabolite coverage, consistent measurements, strong abundance and fold-change correlations, preservation of biological signals, and strong agreement with quantitative concentrations measured in targeted assays with an 8-point calibration curve. Together, these results show that the workflow helps produce accurate, reproducible, and biologically meaningful results across labs, operators, and compatible LC-MS instrument configurations.
