Metabolon’s non-biased global metabolomic screening platform has also been applied for discovery of small molecule biomarkers in tissue and biological fluids in prostate, breast, and lung cancer. Further analysis of identified biomarkers can provide insight into affected biochemical pathways and the mechanisms of cancer development and progression.  Metabolon has discovery efforts in various stages of development in prostate cancer and breast cancer.
