Metabolic disorders are caused by defects in the biochemical pathways associated with cellular metabolic processes. Metabolon’s non-biased global metabolomic screening platform is a powerful discovery tool for screening tissue and biological fluids to identify biomarkers of disease and drug activity. Further analysis of identified biomarkers can provide insight into affected biochemical pathways and the mechanisms of disease onset and progression. Metabolon has made advances in diagnostic discovery for various metabolic syndromes such as insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, obesity, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
