Metabolon is seeking an Accountant Analyst to be an integral member of our finance department. This is an entry level accounting position within our Finance department.
As part of Metabolon’s increasing commercial operations, Metabolon is seeking a Study Director to be an integral member of our Project Management team. The successful candidate will have a strong publication record and excellent communication skills to execute all phases of a scientific research study.
Metabolon’s Diagnostic Division has the objective of developing and providing metabolomic-based tests for the management of patients with cancer and cardiometabolic diseases. These tests are offered through its CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory. Reporting to the VP of Diagnostics Research and Development, the Sr. Director of Clinical Laboratory Commercial Operations will be responsible for the oversight of Clinical lab commercial operations, management of personnel, maintenance of regulatory standards and overseeing the development and operations of the current facility and build-out of future laboratory space. All activities must ensure compliance with all applicable CLIA/CAP, and state regulations and that the laboratory develops and uses a quality system approach to laboratory testing to provide accurate and reliable patient test results.
• Establish a fully integrated system of lab operations that may include customer contact/support, fulfillment, shipping, billing, reimbursement, etc.
• Forecast and execute operational plan for identified tests currently in development.
• Develop and implement budget for Clinical lab operations
• Support marketing and business development activities as appropriate.
• Work effectively with laboratory and commercial partners
• Work with Clinical Lab Director to:
o Ensure that staff is properly trained and ready to integrate and support an increasingly complex test menu.
o Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
o Oversee the development, maintenance and continual improvement of quality systems.
o Oversee the purchase and maintenance of laboratory equipment and records including documentation of down time and corrective action taken, to assure accuracy and completeness of all laboratory analysis.
• Recommends modifications to operating policies if needed.
• Responsible for coordinating all Information Management systems (LIMS, financial, etc.) with IT department.
• Lead effort (in collaboration with Clinical Lab Director, Facilities Manager and others) on design and development of new accredited laboratory space.
